ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Tracey and I am a wedding photographer living in St Austell, Cornwall, with my husband and two little girls.

My story as a female wedding photographer in St Austell

Getting to know your wedding photographer is an important part of planning your wedding, so this is a little bit about me.

Before I purchased my first DSLR in 2007, photography had always been a hobby of mine.

As a child I was given a Halina 35mm film camera and I used to take it everywhere; I was always ready to capture something interesting.

Being surrounded by beautiful Cornish scenery, I felt inspired to expand my knowledge with an emphasis on capturing seascapes and landscapes.

This is still one of my favourite pastimes (when I have the time!)

How I got into weddings

I created Tracey Warbey Photography in 2014 when a work colleague asked me to photograph her wedding at Knightor Winery.

The following year I gave up my job to concentrate on building my business and I am now fortunate enough to be able to do this all year round.

Over the last few years I have been selected as a finalist in the South West Wedding Awards, which is always such an honour.

I’m very fortunate to say that I really do love my job. Living in Cornwall means that I am able to shoot in a variety of locations.

From woodland ceremonies to farm weddings, intimate cliff top weddings to beach weddings, Cornwall has so much to offer!

I would describe my style as being documentary, therefore relaxed and generally using natural light.

My aim is to capture special moments between people.

Building a connection with the people that I meet, enables me to capture them at their very best – relaxed, happy and enjoying the moment.

Building this trust, I believe, allows me to deliver beautiful images.

I offer a service which can be tailored to suit each couple depending on the number of hours coverage required.

From intimate elopements to smaller ceremonies or even larger scale weddings, I would love to talk to you about your day.

From the bridal preparations, through to the first dance and beyond. I can be there to capture it all.

Finally…

So what do I like to do when I’m not shooting a wedding?

I would say spending time with my husband and my children has to be number one. I have two girls, so they keep me on my toes!

I’m also a lover of a good box set (Stranger Things, Breaking Bad – in recent years) or a good film.

I’m a fan of all kinds of genres, including comedy and sci-fi.

I love music and keeping fit by getting outdoors but I also love to go out and eat… I mean, who doesn’t?!

So that’s a little about me, if you would like to tell me a little bit about you and your wedding day plans, please do drop me a line or call.

As a St Austell wedding photographer I would love to hear your plans for your wedding in either Devon or Cornwall.
