A recap of 2021

Here I am again, putting together my obligatory annual round-up and recapping the previous year.

2021 was just crazy, with two years worth of weddings crammed into a six month period, following the pandemic.

It was great to be working again but when my final wedding of the year was complete, I was looking forward to some time off to enjoy the festivities.

Looking ahead to 2022, it was just as busy but with an even spread of weddings throughout the year.

2022

During last year, I was back working at some of my favourite wedding venues in Cornwall:

Pencarrow House, Knightor Winery and Trevenna Barns.

I was also due to photograph at some coastal wedding venues that I haven’t worked at before – The Big Beautiful Beach House – Porthpean House and Lusty Glaze.

It was also an honour to become a 2022 South West Wedding Awards Finalist for the third consecutive year!

I’m now in my 9th year as a wedding photographer in Cornwall and I say this every year but I do love my job.

It’s always such a privilege to share in one of the most important days in my client’s lives.

The trust they put in me to capture their wedding day is something that I will never take for granted.

I also love having the opportunity to photograph at such a wide range of venues.

From barn weddings in the rolling Cornish countryside, to spending the day at the beach.

The roundup

With over 9100 images delivered to clients last year, it was difficult to pick only 100 that reflected the last twelve months.

In this roundup, I have chosen the images that highlight some of the key elements of a wedding day.
