Shabby – chic styling for this Cornish Summer wedding

Yesterday I had the pleasure of capturing Chantelle & Daniel’s wedding at a venue I hadn’t been to before, The Green at Upton Cross nr Liskeard in Cornwall.

Situated right on the edge of Bodmin Moor, this former dairy farm has been completely renovated and now offers luxury accommodation and a perfect place to get married.

Set in a wonderfully secluded spot this wedding venue has 14 acres of grounds and is surrounded by orchards, meadows and a lake, providing an abundance of opportunity for wedding photography.

The Green is a very pretty place to get married and it proved to be the perfect choice for Chantelle and Daniel, who traveled down from Merseyside to combine tying the knot with a honeymoon in Cornwall with their family.

They choose The Green as their wedding venue after falling in love with it’s laid – back style and picturesque setting.

Chantelle and Daniel took their vows indoors (due to the unpredictability of the English weather) in the wedding barn, which was decorated to fit with their shabby – chic styling.

Chantelle wore an off the shoulder crochet lace Boho dress with Melissa Vivian Westwood heels. Her bouquet was a pastel mix of roses, peonies and lilac stocks.

Daniel wore a dazzling blue suit with brown shoes and a duck egg coloured tie which matched their daughter Evie’s bridesmaid dress.

These preview shots were taken during the (very wet) portrait shoot following the ceremony, in the wooden arbour which looks down onto a canopy of trees in the valley below and the apple orchard.
