An Elegant Fowey Wedding
Last month I had the pleasure of photographing Sian and Nick’s gorgeous spring wedding at the Fowey Harbour Hotel.
Blessed with beautiful weather for her wedding day, Sian and her three bridesmaids got ready in her family home on the Fowey Esplanade.
All three bridesmaids wore dark green, full length dresses with embroidered lace detailing.
Sian looked beautiful in a full length, layered chiffon dress with an embroidered lace bodice, jewelled belt and Christian Louboutin leopard skin heels.
Nick looked smart in a grey tweed two piece suit, accompanied with a white shirt, a dark green bow tie and suede shoes.
The couple’s wedding flowers were simply breathtaking and the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen at a wedding.
Provided by Wedding Flowers in Cornwall, they used Scented Stocks, Roses, Peonies, Dill, Ranunculus, Phlox, Anemones, Eucalyptus and Hydrangeas.
The Fowey Harbour Hotel’s newly refurbished ceremony room smelt incredible and was dressed with wooden boxes filled with a variety of these flowers.
A large arrangement was also laid across the ceremony table.
To add to the elegance of this wedding, a string quartet played as wedding guests arrived to be seated.
After the wedding ceremony Sian, Nick and their guests enjoyed drinks and canapes outside in the sunshine on the hotel’s lawn.
The lawn being situated right on the Fowey Estuary – a beautiful setting!
Later on the guests were seated in a beautifully decorated marquee (provided by Absolute Canvas) and enjoyed a lavish three course dinner.
They later on then cut their cake (provided by Cut Me Off A Slice) and dancing the night away.
Here’s some of my favourite images from their day…
