A Disney inspired country wedding
This month I had the pleasure of photographing Hannah and Josh’s celebration at the wonderful Trevenna Barns in St Neot.
Blessed with fine weather, the couple married at St Dominic Parish Church, which is situated in the picturesque village of St Dominic, approximately 2.5 miles from Callington.
Following the ceremony we stopped off briefly at Halton Quay, a natural quayside on the bank of the Tamar River, for some pictures before rejoining friends and family at Trevenna Barns for their Reception.
Josh had popped the question during a visit to Disney World, so they felt that a Disney inspired theme would be the perfect choice for their wedding.
Hannah wore an absolutely stunning embroidered a-line wedding dress designed by Justin Alexander and bought from Prudence Gowns.
She accompanied this with a veil and heels to match that had a ribbon fastening.
She opted for pretty pastel shades for her wedding flowers, which consisted of roses, stocks, daisies and forget me nots, tied with long pastel ribbons.
The four bridesmaids also wore a mix of pastel colours but carried simple, elegant bouquets of gypsophilia.
Hannah’s flower girl carried a smaller version of Hannah’s mixed flower bouquet.
All the flower arrangements were put together by local florist Sharon Mesher.
Other suppliers included South West make-up artist Maddie Pearce.
Josh wore a grey three piece suit with a pink silk tie, matching handkerchief and brown leather shoes.
His button hole, which was made up of gypsophilia and lavender, was finished with a small superhero badge; the best man and ushers also wore button holes with different superhero characters.
Congratulations Hannah and Josh!
Here’s a few highlights from their day…
