An English Country Wedding in North Cornwall
Well, what can I say about this wedding other than it was absolutely incredible!
It was real pleasure to be part of this couple’s informal ceremony at Katie’s parent’s home in North Tamerton yesterday.
Katie and Myles took their vows legally at Bude registry office in the morning, and then celebrated with their friends and family in the grounds of the family home in the afternoon and long into the evening.
As their guests gathered eagerly in the garden waiting for Katie to arrive, she surprised them all by arriving at the outdoor ceremony riding her grey stallion, with her bridesmaids following closely behind.
The wedding day styling matched the couple perfectly – A laid-back English country wedding, with a blend of wild flowers loosely tied with lavender, hessian and lace.
Katie wore an embroidered lace and chiffon wedding dress, her long hair worn to the side and braided with a beautiful jeweled hair piece and Rainbow Club heels.
Myles looked dapper in a dark blue suit and bow tie, finishing the look with a brown waist coat and shoes.
The couple enjoyed a seated buffet in a large tipi style tent in the garden, which came to life in the evening when a friend of the family played in his 3 piece band ‘Dino Baptiste’, comprising of keyboard/vocals, drums and saxophone; they certainly had the place rocking!
This preview shot was taken in the garden during ‘golden hour’ (the hour before the sun starts to set) and I can’t wait to share some more of this wedding in Cornwall over the coming weeks…
Congratulations Katie and Myles!
