A Beach Wedding in St Ives

At the end of last month I had the pleasure of photographing Amy and Stuart’s intimate wedding in St Ives.

The couple had travelled from Bristol to Cornwall to tie the knot in the heart of this beautiful seaside town.

Stuart and Amy exchanged vows at The Guildhall, which is in the centre of the town.

Built in 1939, The Guildhall is owned and managed by St Ives Town Council.

Steeped in Cornish heritage, The Guildhall delivers a wide range of entertainment and events throughout the year.

Following their private service Amy, Stuart and their guests enjoyed some bubbly on the beach outside Porthminster Beach Cafe.

Blessed with beautiful views across the bay to Godrevy Lighthouse, Porthminster Beach looks and feels like a tropical haven with palm trees and translucent waters.

Although a little overcast for our bride and groom couple time shoot on the day, somehow I don’t think Amy and Stuart cared too much…
