“Reaction shots” are all about capturing the reactions of guests observing the wedding’s activities as they unfold. They play an important part in telling the bride & groom’s story and are one of the reasons I love to photograph weddings.

Part of my job is to be ready to record these moments as they happen because at the end of the day, I want the couple to be able to remember their wedding in as much detail as possible.

If you’re getting married and would like to see a collection of some of my favourite images from some recent weddings in Cornwall, then please head over to my gallery.

Here’s just a few of my favourite reactions from some recent weddings this summer…

knightor_winery_wedding_photographer_16Oh no, it doesn’t fit!

knightor_winery_wedding_24A private joke…

knightor_winery_wedding_30Probably my favourite reaction shot of the summer. As the groom delivers his speech, it’s all too much for the bride and her mother!

knightor_winery_wedding_photographer_31It tickles the groom’s dad though!

14-st_neot_churchThat damned confetti gets everywhere doesn’t it?!

3-wedding_photographer_trevenna_barnsA tender moment between the bride and her father following an emotional speech.
