A Really Rustic Wedding at The Green, Cornwall
Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Paul’s rustic winter wedding at The Green in Cornwall.
This popular barn wedding venue is situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor and it proved to be the ideal location for their rustic wedding.
The Green has recently made a new addition to the areas of the venue in which couples can tie the knot.
Added last year, the Really Rustic Barn was introduced which is a beautifully converted cattle barn.
Literally a blank canvas, couples are welcomed to style it themselves to fit with their rustic wedding theme.
This is where Sarah and Paul exchanged vows and it was made all the more special as it was the very first wedding to be held in the Really Rustic Barn.
Sarah wore a gorgeous embellished, sleek dress with a sequin bolero and silver sandals.
She wore her hair in a loose up-do dressed with daisies.
Sarah opted for a simple bouquet of Protea and Eucalyptus for her wedding flowers.
Paul looked smart in a charcoal grey suit jacket and waistcoat with navy trousers, a purple tie and tan leather shoes.
It was a wet day but I made the most of the opportunity to get creative by adding in some back light to the wedding photos while it was raining.
The rest of the bride and groom portraits were taken either within or just outside the Really Rustic Barn.
Here’s just a few of my favourites from their wedding day…
