A Christmas Wedding at St Elizabeth’s
The 21st of December was a very special day for me last year as I ‘quietly’ celebrated my 40th birthday, whilst photographing my final wedding of 2019 at St Elizabeth’s House in Plympton, Devon.
It was an elegant affair with sprigs of rosemary, silver candelabra and beautiful flowers provided by Plymouth based florist Hannah Burnett.
Amy looked stunning in a full length, lace embroidered, sweet heart neck line wedding dress with beaded detailing.
She finished the look with a long veil and diamante shoes.
Her bridesmaids wore matching pale silvery blue, full length dresses with a diamante belt, strappy sandals and a rose wrist corsage to match the bridal flowers.
Kris looked smart in a grey three piece suit accompanied with a white shirt, a wine coloured tie (to match the wedding flowers) and black slip on shoes.
Amy and Kris tied the knot in the Beatrice Room of St Elizabeth’s House during an emotional ceremony surrounded by their loved ones, where they exchanged personal vows before enjoying drinks by the Christmas tree.
Although it rained for the majority of the afternoon, we didn’t let the weather dampen our spirits as we took shelter under the veranda for their couple time shoot.
Later on that afternoon, Kris, Amy and their guests were seated for a three course wedding feast before dancing the night away on the beautiful LED dance floor provided by Plymouth based DJ – DJ Northey.
Here’s a few highlights from their special day…
