A Gin Themed Wedding at Knightor
Last month I photographed Susie and George’s intimate wedding at Knightor Winery in Trethurgy, near St Austell.
The couple had originally planned to get married last year but they postponed their wedding due to Covid-19.
Having scaled down their guest list, the couple finally tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony at this popular barn wedding venue in Cornwall.
Susie and George chose wild floras to compliment the venue, with milk churns filled with meadow flowers supplied by Verity at Blush Floral Art.
Verity also supplied the flowers for Susie’s tear drop bouquet, which consisted of Peonies, Lathyrus Odoratus (sweet peas) and Love-in-a-Mist.
Susie’s two bridesmaids wore chiffon, pale blue knee length dresses with cream espadrilles and held matching smaller posies.
Susie looked beautiful in a full length lace wedding dress with a v-neck line and diamante feature belt.
She finished the look with a pair of heels with lace and bow detailing, a diamante necklace, matching earrings and a Pandora bracelet.
George looked smart in a grey three piece suit with a white shirt, a pale blue tie and black shoes.
The ceremony took place underneath the arbour, which is situated in front of the lake, where the couple’s guests looked on while sat on hay bales.
After the ceremony Susie, George and their guests enjoyed drinks and canapes in the courtyard before being seated upstairs for a three course wedding feast.
All of the tables were decorated with a variety of colourful gin bottles, filled with either lights or wild meadow flowers.
Here’s a few of my favourites from their special day at Knightor Winery…
Congratulations Susie and George!
I would love to hear your wedding day plans!
