An afternoon of fine dining at Trevenna

Towards the end of last year I was delighted to be invited to photograph Trevenna Barns‘ Food and Flower Festival’.

Here a selection of homemade breads, local Cornish meats and vegetables are all prepared and cooked in the kitchen for future wedding couples to sample.

The couples are then free to create their very own wedding menu from what they have tried on the day.

On arrival, the couples are greeted with canapes and invited to sample a selection of fine wines.

Each table was beautifully decorated by the Trevenna team, with wedding flower arrangements provided by local florist Sharon Mesher.

The tables were all dressed differently to spark each couple’s imagination for their own wedding at Trevenna.

From wooden trestle tables that had greenery table runners combined with pretty tea light holders, to either square or round tables that had plain linen table cloths dressed with hessian and lace.

Others were simply decorated with wooden tree trunk slices and small glass vases filled with a flower arrangement.

All of the decor was specifically chosen to compliment this beautiful barn wedding venue in Cornwall.

Trevenna also provided a selection of wedding cakes, which were all made on the premises.

These were displayed and cut for sampling and included pistachio, salted caramel, coffee and raspberry, to name just a few.
